In 2001, Disney’s California Adventure Park opened its gates. With the expansion came 37 new attractions and 44 restaurants. We’ve compiled a list of our top 5 restaurants (or snacks) in the park. You can also check out our recommendations for Disneyland and Downtown Disney.

What Are the Top 5 California Adventure Restaurants?

5. Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta

California Adventure RestaurantDisney has mastered the art of the pizza pie. Though several pizzerias are peppered around Disney’s properties, you definitely don’t want to miss this restaurant. The pizza, salads, and pasta are delicious, and the design is oddly nostalgic.

Disneyland Today’s Recommendation: You can’t go wrong with a slice of hand-tossed pepperoni pizza and a side order of their delicious Spaghetti and Meatballs.

4. Flo’s V8 Cafe

Restaurant 2When Disney added Cars Land to California Adventure, we got some awesome new attractions and some amazing restaurants and snack stands. Flo’s reminds you of a classic neon 1950s diner.

Disneyland Today’s Recommendation: If it’s a warm day, try the milkshakes. You can even take home a collectible cup topped with edible road gravel (Oreo crumbs).

3. Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill

steakThe blend of flavors (and the margaritas) are simply a must while visiting California Adventure. The restaurant doesn’t have a huge menu, but it goes above and beyond with its selection of gluten and allergy-free entrees.

Disneyland Today’s Recommendation: Sometimes all you need is a delicious side of house-made chips and guacamole to make a meal.

2. Napa Rose

napa roseThough not exactly in the California Adventure theme park, Napa Rose is located in the Grand Californian Resort, which shares an entrance to the park. Perfect for white tablecloth dining and a glass of wine to bring the evening to a romantic close. While it’s one of the pricier options on our dining recommendations list, you’ll find exquisite entrees such as Pork Loin, Filet Mignon, and Duck รก l’Orange (don’t tell Donald).

1. Pacific Wharf Cafe

Disneyland Today’s Recommendation: The clam chowder bowl is the best. If you still have room…eat the bowl. The sourdough bread is baked on-site, and it’s absolutely delicious!
