All Aboard the Disney Wish

Disney Wish

Disney’s newest cruise ship in the fleet, the Disney Wish, was officially christened on June 29th, 2022. Assembled in Papenburg, Germany, the Wish is the newest of five Disney ships, the Disney Magic, Wonder, Dream, and Fantasy. It is a stunning 1,119-foot ship, weighing in at nearly 144,000 gross tons (that’s about 22,000 Dumbos)! The ship has 15 decks, 10 pools, and a brand new Mickey Mouse water attraction, the AquaMouse.

What Activities Are Available For Kids and Adults?

The Disney Wish will feature several clubs just for kids! The Marvel Super Hero Academy, Star Wars Galactic Creature Keepers, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, and Fairytale Hall.

Adults can relax and unwind in the Star Wars Hyper Space Lounge for signature drinks, float in an infinity pool and enjoy a drink at the Quiet Cove, order a tasting of rum, whiskey, and bourbon at Hook’s Barbary, satisfy a craving for coffee, tea, cocktails, and wine at the Cove Café, and experience the wonder of the Beauty and the Beast-themed lounge, The Rose.

Entertainment for the Entire Family

If you’re in the mood for a Broadway-style show or a movie theater, the Disney Wish presents The Little Mermaid, Disney Seas the Adventure, and Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular. The Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas will feature comfortable seating for classic movies.

Families will find entertaining dinner shows at Arendelle and Worlds of Marvel, and adults will find upscale or exclusive dining at 1923, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement, and the Palo Steakhouse.

Where will the Disney Wish Be Sailing?

Beginning July 14th, guests will board the Disney Wish at Port Canaveral, Florida for voyages to Nassau in the Bahamas. The ship will make a stop on its way back to Florida at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. Guests can enjoy extensive facilities for water sports, beach barbecues or just lounging on the pristine beaches for the afternoon.
