When visiting Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland, one of your first stops should be Savi’s Workshop. If you mention you’re looking for scrap metal, the citizens of Batuu will direct you to his shop. Be prepared for the experience of a lifetime. For $219.99 (plus tax), you’ll build your lightsaber with a hilt, blade, kyber crystal and receive a transport sleeve. The Gatherers will ensure you have a quality build before heading back out to face the First Order or the Resistance.
Disneyland Today Recommendation: You have two choices when buying a lightsaber. You can customize a hilt at Savi’s Workshop or buy a Legacy hilt from Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. We recommend building a blade at Savi’s Workshop. You’ll remember the experience and level of immersion for the rest of your life.
The Lightsaber Durability Test
Have you been wondering about the lightsaber durability of the blades from Savi’s Workshop? How would they hold up in a battle between the Light and Dark sides? The creator of Star Wars IRL permitted us to show you the durability of his custom lightsaber. However, before you start swinging your blade around, we recommend watching the video at the top of the screen.
What do I do if something happens to my lightsaber?
As Master Obi-Wan Kenobi might say, “This weapon is your life“. What should you do if you have any functional/technical issues with your custom-built lightsaber? In that case, you can surely reach out to a citizen of Batuu or contact Disney Guest Services. Some of these issues may include: Blade not igniting (lighting), unusual battery drain or defect, blade damage resulting from shipping from the park, or no sound.
