If you like healthier food options but prefer strictly vegetarian or vegan meal options, Disney parks have added several menu items to enjoy.
You can also check out the Eating Healthy at Disneyland article for snack ideas. Menu items are subject to change frequently or may include new seasonal items. Check the Disneyland app for the latest menu options of any restaurant.
Where Can I Find Vegan Options at Disneyland?
🌿 Alien Pizza Planet – Tomorrowland
While the pepperoni pizza is pretty good, Alien Pizza Planet also offers salads, pasta, and vegetarian pizza. Choices include Spaghetti with Celestial Tomato Sauce, Terra Nova Tomato Basil Pasta, and the Venus Vegetarian Pizza with vegan pizza crust. In addition, you can request vegan cheese with any pasta dish. Finally, if you need gluten-free options, ask a cast member if they offer gluten-free crusts or pasta.
🌿 Bengal Barbecue – Adventureland
There are several healthy menu items at this quick-service restaurant. There are grilled vegetable skewers, rice bowls, and a bean hummus or fruit cup. Additionally, they offer bacon-wrapped asparagus, but they may be able to serve only the grilled asparagus as a vegetable skewer for those who want a quick and affordable vegetable snack.
🌿 The Blue Bayou – New Orleans Square
If you’re concerned about fine dining on a vegan diet, Disney has you covered. Blue Bayou’s menu can change without notice. So be sure to check the Disneyland app for current menu items before you make your dinner reservations. For example, there is a Golden Beet Salad, which consists of Arugula, Sherry Vin, Strawberries, Pickled Red Onions, and Pistachios. Be sure to ask them to “Hold the cheese, please.”
🌿 The Restaurants of Main Street U.S.A
The Carnation Cafe offers vegan Mickey Mouse waffles, a house salad, and seasonal fruit. They will also prepare their signature Apple-Granola Pancakes with vegan ingredients. There’s also a frozen strawberry fruit bar at Clarabelle’s, and fruit, chip, and vegetable snack kiosks are set up if you need a quick bite to eat or a tasty treat. Some items in the past have been giant dill pickles, carrot and celery sticks, mixed fruit cups, apple slices, cuties oranges, bananas, pineapple spears, trail mix, and apple crisps.
🌿 The Galactic Grill – Tomorrowland
While you can’t argue that they have some of the best collectible sippers for Star Wars fans, delicious breakfast burritos, and infamous desserts (Darth by Chocolate Parfait), the Galactic Grill also offers a Veggie Burger. You can make it vegan by ordering without cheese or mayo. Don’t forget to try their Tator Tots on the evening menu. They also offer seasonal fresh fruit and frozen strawberry fruit bars. Next to the discreet quick-service restaurant is where you’ll find the Tomorrowland Terrace Stage.
For curious guests wondering if the most amazing, most delicious Disney snack that ever existed is vegan? Yes, my friends, Dole Whip Soft-Serve and Dole Whip Floats are vegan! They are a great treat during a hot summer or an afternoon snack.
🌿 Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo – Galaxy’s Edge
Even in the furthest reaches of the Outer Rim, you can find vegetarian and vegan options in the outpost’s restaurants. The Felucian Garden Spread comes with pita bread, diced tomatoes and cucumber, herb hummus, and meatless meatballs. For adults needing to take the “edge” off, all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at Oga’s Cantina are vegan. Best of all, you get to listen to the tunes of DJ-R3X (Rex). I believe Galaxy’s Edge has the most vegan-friendly food in Disneyland.
🌿 Pym’s Test Kitchen featuring IMPOSSIBLE™ – Avenger’s Campus
Several new items are packing a superhero-sized punch at Pym’s Test Kitchen. While Avenger’s Campus is not in Disneyland, the number of vegan menu options in California Adventure’s newest land is worth mentioning. For example, the Impossible Quantum Garden Breakfast features plant-based sausage and a vegan omelet, and the Impossible Spoonful has IMPOSSIBLE™ meatballs.
