Unlike traditional Disney parks, Disneyland Abu Dhabi may contain fully indoor theme park space, ensuring a comfortable experience despite the emirate’s extreme heat. A Collaboration with Miral
The project is being developed in partnership with Miral, a leading Abu Dhabi-based company known for creating world-class attractions like Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, and SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. While Disney will design the park, Miral will fully fund, build, and operate it, ensuring a seamless integration with the region’s entertainment landscape.
What to Expect
Though details on attractions remain under wraps, visitors can expect a modern take on classic Disney experiences, including a possible castle centerpiece that will be the first truly modern Disney castle. The park will also feature regionally inspired dining, retail, and entertainment, blending Disney’s iconic characters with Abu Dhabi’s rich heritage. Disney’s D23 convention would be the ideal place to announce the new Disney theme park.
Opening Timeline
While an exact opening date hasn’t been confirmed, Disney has indicated that once construction begins, it will take at least five years to complete. That means fans can likely expect Disneyland Abu Dhabi to open in the early 2030s.
